I must tell you how much our phone chats mean to me. It is so nice to hear your voice and the subject matter we discuss is of little importance to me, it is the contact with you that I treasure.
That being said I thought I would share what is going on today. It is very cold and tomorrow is supposed to be even colder, so I know that it is worse there. BRRR. I have church duty tomorrow, but want to get in the kitchen and bake up some cookies. I have really gotten interested in cooking this past year (better late than never I guess) I would like to get over to Barnes and Noble and check out several cookbooks that were written by some of the folks that I watch on TV. I am especially interested in Ina Gartner's books at the moment. I have a very dirty house that needs attending to and there is always the call of the sewing room. Right now I am machine quilting. I really do like that and can tell that I am improving in my skill level. It is such fun to have toys to play with. I want to make up a lot of greeting cards to have on hand for various occasions too and with my Sizzix and my Cricut, it should be a snap to do that. Guess I will never outgrow my love of cut and paste. Did I pass that along to you? I sure do hope so as it is so much fun. I really hope that there is a large craft room in heaven that opens into a garden and that I will get to play in both for eternity. It is for sure that I will not make the music room. HA.
I so hope that this week end allowed you some down time to rest up, and if not maybe this short work week will. It sounds as if K is really improving and I know that is great news for you both. I need to scoot and get busy on some things. I have a big pot of beans cooking and they smell wonderful. Wish you were here to share a bowl a little later.
