I really appreciated the information on soliciting the service records. I went online and did that. You had to download a form to sign and date that you are who you said you are and send it off in order to get the information. I did this and I am guessing in a few weeks they will send me dad's record. I would have done this years ago had I known about it. I will send you information that I learn and keep the record they send in the strong box with the other important papers.
Yesterday I started Project Reclaim on the backyard. I spaded up one bed and removed the plants. Cleaned out unwanted plants, dividied others, moved a daylily into the bed and planted a package of daffodils.
I am getting my haircut today, so will forego yard work until tomorrow and instead run some errands.
